A few projects... and a little bit late.

I hope you all had a beautiful holiday weekend! I had a blessed one, spent with my husband and kiddos. Oh, how they are the loves of my life :) Each day, each precious moment that I get to spend with them, I wish I could freeze in time. I guess that is why I am so passionate about scrapbooking, art journals, etc., for they all feature these little snippets of wonder!

First up, here is a project featuring the beautiful Swirlydoos March Kit, my last project for the month.

 "Cherish {Every Little Thing About You, I will}"

 The dark colors within this kit are so striking, and I wanted to play around with that a bit, using some Shimmerz Paints to create the background flowers and of course splashing a bit of gesso around also to highlight the photo and draw your eye around.

I also have a project to show you that I made for Prima eons ago... it was for a special assignment, but then well, I forgot all about showing it off later! Here she is... in all her wintery, winter-ness!
