Experience My 2012 - Prima Pocket Pad

The new Pocket Pad Album from Prima is so much fun. I don't find myself making mini albums very often, but I can see myself making versions of this over and over. I decided that I wanted to commemorate my last year, and I could end lots of details, teeny notes, pictures, and more with all the available mini envelopes added to the large pocket pages.
 "Experience My 2012"

To create this album, commemorating a specific event with lots of photos, or perhaps a year like I did, here are some pointers...
I placed three of Leeza's little mini pockets on each large pocket page. Before adding anything else, I distressed a piece of cardboard and the these pockets with gesso and molding paste. I then slid the cardboard in the large pocket, gluing it inside to make the pocket less bendable. These pockets were then left empty so that I could add more photos and notes inside about the year!

I then stamped the months on each of the mini pockets, in order, adhering three months to each larger pocket page. Leaving the flap open, I slid in a little note on notebook paper describing one of my favorite photos from that month. I then printed out a mini version of that photo and used a glue dot to attach it to my memory note.

Finishing the album off, I clipped on some Prima wooden clips and added some of the sticker embellishments on the pages, as well as added a flower cluster on the front of my album.
