I know that I have said this before, but I will say it again. I adore watching my daughters when they immerse themselves in creative play. They walk softer and speak passionately; boldly becoming princesses, queens, ballerinas, flowers, ladies, and garden fairies.
This layout is totally inspired by the enchanted walks they take, in their own imaginations. It is what I imagine them, to be imagining, while they play... of course, this is MY own imagination, lol. (I am sure theirs are much more vivid!)
And a couple close-ups... the Prima burlap flower was altered using distress ink, Making Memories paint, and some silver glass beads. (I LOVE those teeny beads!)
And I am not sure if you can really see it, but I had so much fun distressing the paper background with inks and paints. I used a muted color palette, of taupe, buttermilk, and pale pink, sponging the paints on first, letting them set for a moment and then dry brushing with my fan brush on top of the paint. :)
The dots on the sunbeams are done with the back-end of my paintbrush, and then I topped them with glossy accents for some dimension!
And with that... ALMOST all of my Prima Pastiche paper has been used up. **sigh** Good thing CHA is almost here, and new releases will be hitting the shelves!
