Taking a dip!

This summer has been an eventful one for my girls... after years of being afraid of water - they took the plunge and learned how to swim! This was a long time coming, and definitely an achievement! For the layout below, I really wanted to make it look as though the page was the water they were sitting in.

It took a bit of strategic cutting, some clear gesso, and lots of molding paste to create the waves. I painted the waves by dipping my brush into different colors of Glimmer Mist, blending as I went, and then topping with Crackle medium and Glossy Accents in various spots. I thought it would also be fun to incorporate their victorious "swims" to Daddy all by themselves, so using the sport setting on my Digi Rebel, I took action photos of the girls and made some film strips using Bo Bunny Mama-Razzi papers, and some black cardstock.

A few close-ups as always!!
Thanks for popping by, my friends!!
