So long hair... hello mommy-do.

So... I cut my hair today. This is not a huge deal... but I have been growing it for about a year and a half now, simply because everyone said that I couldn't. I have had short hair for about 13 years, and when I say short, I mean SHORT. Let's just say that my hair was about the same length as my husband's is now when him and I first met. You know that old saying about how when a woman gets married they cut off all their hair?? Yea, well that wasn't me. Mine has only gotten longer (which if I am being honest, going shorter was barely possible, LOL.) They (my husband and three brothers, and two brother in laws) said I couldn't grow it past my shoulders, and that I couldn't go until I graduated college (which just so happened finally in May 08) and I DID IT. So I hacked it off. It feels freeing, and well... somewhat depressing now. I made it past when they said, but I realized after I did it that - that was probably the last time I would attempt it. Because growing it for a reason, because I was told that I couldn't - well, forced me not to. :)
Anyhoo... thought I would share my newly shorn locks... and a bit of sass.
