So one of those long awaited announcements is finally here! A few months ago, major global art company Faber-Castell commissioned some artwork from me for their upcoming new catalog as they break into the scrapbook industry here in the United States! Woot! What fun I had creating this piece below, that is featured on the Design Memory Craft blog today. You can find the DMC blog by clicking HERE.
"Taking Flight" was created using black and white photos that I had taken at a hot air balloon launch this past summer, coloring them in with watercolor pencils, and using several of Design Memory Craft's other products. If you want more details - please visit their blog HERE!
The inside pages...
and the back cover...
Let your dreams take flight my friends! (And then get them down on paper too...
or, errmmm, cardboard like here. Hee.)
In a couple weeks I will be showing off another project that I made specifically for Faber-Castell, so stay tuned!
xx Heidi
