It's so hard to watch your child go through some hard times. Especially at this tender age. Elementary school can be so difficult. Kids can be mean, teasing, and awkward. My precious daughter is trying to learn how to let go of the ridiculous, not hold onto the mean, not embrace being angry, and avoid being self-conscious. I so hope that together we can fight this battle one day at a time... because she is so full of life and passion and drama, and I don't want any of that taken from her.
Some close-ups...
I used Steampunk Debutante papers, Pleated ribbon, My Little Shoebox alpha stickers, and lots of Shimmerz (Spritz in Olive Branch and Treasured Hymn, and Blingz in Spiced Cider)

Oh Heidi..it is challenges times with our beautiful girls at school.. I have the same issues with my holly..it upsets me to see her cry and tell me of the nasties. i know i would love to match down there and sort those kids out! I've 3 girls and they are all loving little souls.
Gorgeous page thanks fore sharing!
Oh my! Heidi this is wonderful! You know how I love details and this is full of 'em. I hope your daughter is feeling stronger today.
Beautifully done. I hope your daughter can keep her chin up amid the ugliness. My kids have gone through similar things and my oldest is gearing up for middle school next year....ugh.... ;)
Wow, this is lovely. I like how you've used the wings.
