Hopping, Day 3! (And some news!)

Completely inspired by some retro pop art that I was browsing a few weeks ago, I had a blast making this layout of my son...

Totally messy, totally boy, totally fun to create. What can I say? I LOVE my mists, my paint, my gesso. I used Basic Grey's Olivia background paper, amping it up with Maya Mist in Blue Corn Metallic and Tattered Angels in Red Velvet. I then slapped on some gesso and dry brushed it. Tim Holtz Tissue Tape lime colored twine and the BG Oliver stickers were the perfect embellies, after altering "just a tad" with some more mist and molding paste. All but the Red Velvet TA, and gesso are available in the YSS store now!
Some close-ups...

And as  promised, onto the big YSS news!
