This week's color palette from The Color Room is breathtakingly mature! And what did I do? I grunged it up, in true Heidi fashion. :) Here is my layout for this week...
"Imagine, Dance, Trust... PLAY"
(For a larger view, click on the photo.)
This layout features photos of my girls, having a bit of posing fun with the statues at a nearby outdoor mall. I have plans to make a mini album also, because I think we took about 15 photos of the girls posing like or interacting with all these cute statues and it was just so much fun!
I just adore the little glass beads that I used within the title work, and the centers of the flowers! The black bead work is a Prima flourish that I cut apart to make stems, borders, and fun accents. What fun this layout was to make... talk about getting messy! In fact, I had a LITTLE bit too much fun playing with the layout and various techniques, that I had to create another project for the Couture Color Room palette project on Couture Cardstock's blog today! (oops.) Sometimes I just can't stop myself... I fall into a creative groove, and it just takes me a certain direction!
Here is the card that I put on the Couture Cardstock blog today, instead! Still a bit funky for certain... I don't know what it was about this color palette... it just screamed "distress me", at me! :)
I have been missing a few people in my life recently, since our move to the South, and the inside reads "is a little empy without you!"
Thanks for poppin' by, friends!! Tomorrow on Couture Cardstock's blog, I will be posting a cardstock Orchid tutorial... the very same that we made at the class this past weekend. I hope you will stop by and take a peek!
Happy Monday!
xx Heidi
