Is there anything better than two companies combining their amazing products? Today we have a joint venture by Prima Marketing and Faber-Castell! Not only do our products work perfectly together, but we know that you will feel completely inspired when you see what can be done with them!
Let's hope I can get your creative brilliance flowing with a couple of the projects that I created... AND if you leave a comment here on my page, by midnight on May 18th, I will be sending a little RAK along to someone randomly selected... let's just say it will have a bit of both of these companies' yummy products included! I will announce the winner on the 19th :))
"Blowing Kisses"
The Faber Castell products are perfect for adding incredible details to
projects! Here is used their Gold Gelato stick, highlighting the molding
paste effect that I used in the background. I then used two Big Brush
Pens, in Orange Glaze and Light Yellow Glase to highlight some of the
paste details as well. The Light Yellow Glaze Big Brush Pen was also
used to color in the Shabby Chic Treasure elements. As an added oomph! I
wanted to color in some strands of my daughter's hair, and I used the
Pastel Pencils/Blending Stump for that as well as to color some of the
flower petals across the page.
The Prima papers just screamed whimsy to me here, and the flowers and butterflies, in combination with the artsy elements from Faber-Castell... **sigh** what a fun way to create!!

"Princesa"
Faber Castell's Gelato Sticks in Guava, Bubble Gum, and Metallic Silver,
completely transformed my background in this project! I had already
used a bit of crackle paste for distressing, and then I rubbed and
blended in the three gelato colors in various spots. I also highlighted
my masking effect, coloring in some of the impressions with the two
pinkish shades, and then highlighting their edges with the Metallic
Gold. I then used the Watercolor Pencils to create a fading colored look
on my Prima Cotton tape, as well as to color in the sash on my
daughter's dress.
